Bought a bag of Fox Farm Ocean Forest from Amazon recently for my winter indoor grow. Plants look healthy enough but i started noticing fungus gnats so I bought stickies from Amazon. I don't really want to just trap them. What do you guys do?
The bag i bought is loaded with them so I threw it out! I can't believe i didn't notice it right from the start.
I don't typically have gnats, but did recently.
I let soil dry on top and sprinkled diatomaceous earth completely covering surface. After a few days the gnat population was noticeably smaller. I watered again which ruins diatomaceous earth so I allowed to dry and after second application, didn't have gnats anymore.
Neem cake in soil mix helps kill the gnat larvae(nemetodes) too...which may be why i don't usually have gnats. I use living soil with neem meal incorporated.

These fuc..... gnats are killing me - cant get rid of them. Tried peroxide - plug in traps -sticky traps - so i just bought this coz the plants are hurting

Anyone ever try this?

Never tried it. Please let us know.
Did you try letting the soil dry at least an inch deep? Usually helps stifle reproduction.

Peroxide always works for me. It only kills the larvae. You have to wait for the adults to die off of natural causes.
It works though, as long as you keep applying it until you don’t see any more adults.
