If your interested in height control I do a lot of training and use screens. If you spread the plants out you'll get more light in the canopy..where it counts.good morning everybody, i have a question, when should i trim? according to what ive read its when the plants have 6 to 8 nodes, and are healthy. im attaching pictures of 5 of my plants that meet that criteria, please let me know what you think, thanks george P.S. their 39 days old and vary in height from 11 to 13 inches tall.
Yep you are overwatering I have inside plants and they get water when the pots are light sometimes 2 days sometimes 3. I water slowly but just until it starts to seep out the bottom. All my plants together get about 3 gallons of water. And the big one gets a full gallon.im using a 50/50 mix of fox farms and coco, i probably water too much, every 2 to 3 days i water till it come out the bottom of the pots, i have ten plants and use about 5 gallons of water, water meter readings in several places of each plant says anywhere from 18 to 25%
I find it pretty hard to overwater with a peat based medium. I'm dumping a gallon a day on my late flower Cindy.Yep you are overwatering I have inside plants and they get water when the pots are light sometimes 2 days sometimes 3. All my other plants are getting watered 1gal every other day in 7 gal pots. With smaller veg plants it was every 3rd day.
@george goff Have you been lifting your pots after watering? Heavy they are full...Light..they need water. Easy no fail method to avoid over watering.
