Just add the calmag liquid as is. Don't add any extra Epsom. That liquid formula should be plenty of mag.

I use CalMag on all my veggies when I feed which is once a week. The rest of the time it's just straight water.
I do the same thing with Weed.

I've been using 4ml calmag and 1/4 teaspoon per gallon of Jack's every watering and it's really stabilized my plant health in the tent. Recharge added every ten days or so, and that's it for indoors, though I have been monitoring for ph. Outside, I've been adding the calmag twice a week, though I may increase it during flower. No ph adjustment outdors.

I've found that adjusting my PH even if just watering makes a big difference. I used to not worry about or mess with the ph but I actually see a difference even in Organic grows.
So now I'm a big believer in a good pen and adjusting PH to make sure it's below 7 and above 6 in all my soil grows.

I add cal mag 1 tsp per 2 gal + Jacks every watering after 4 weeks. I could be wrong though.
I start Jacks at 7-10 days. They handle it fine. I only get burnt tips late in flower and that normal on almost any grow with any nute. It just means you hit it dialed in. I do walk that fine line of nitrogen toxicity though. I think I need to 1/4 tsp per gal instead of 1/2 tsp per gal on the blossom in flower.

Yeah man, them little tweaks of jacks nutrients is working for folks. I like reading what others are adding to the mix. Seeing what works for them.
I still have yet to pick up a meter. At this point I've had so much success with just watering and letting the promix do it's thing I just don't check it anymore.

What is recharge?
Real Grower's Recharge. It's a solid concentrate for making a compost tea. It has kelp, molasses, humic, fulvic, amino acids, myco, and some baccillus and tricoderms that are supposed to help the plants absorb nutrients through the roots. It's pricy but a little goes a long way. I treat every 10 days or so and the plants always get a boost from it. Helpful for transplant shock or other plant stresses. I use 1/8 teaspoon in a litre bottle which will treat around 4 plants.

Good info and good to know it works well with the Jack's. We're building a library of Jack's growing information. Cooool stuff.

Yep, I know it's there. I just meant we're building a library of info in the community. It would be good info for the thread though.
My stoned ass replied to the wrong person. I meant this for @Oscarzuma

Thanks for the input GM, I’m going to add calmag along with Epsom next watering 👍🏻.
yes, please do not use both..... took me years to listen and since I have, my grows have had almost NO issues with necrosis, leaf spotting, unhealthy looking plants... it all stopped. Forever my bro BigSur51 kept commenting, need more Calmag.... kinda like the old Calgon commercials... we need more Calgon, ancient Chinese secret huh? anyone, showing my age with that one... lol.
Calmag, NOT epsom salt. If your running a certain line of nutrients, I HIGHLY recommend you using their Calmag product. it has been developed to work in conjunction with their other nutrients avoiding lockout issues. I use FoxFarm 3 part and, Bushmaster is their Calmag line.
Otherwise, I recommend using Earth Juice Calmag+. works with all nutrient lines.

from week 2 @ 1/2tsp/gal, by week 4 full tsp/gal. Once in a while in full bloom I had a tablespoon...

Weekly, do not miss this... calmag is a major building block of your buds... so stop using Epsom Salts people, no coffee grounds.... lol

I've grown for 20yrs, have never owned any meters. I used to take my tap water to a pool supply store, they test if for free and tell you everything that is inside your water and how to get it to neutral.. my last place the water was pretty good, park had it's own filtration system.... so just using a Britta Filter made my water perfect for plants....
If you grow on a small scale, only 4 to 8 plants to water.... this is one of the best ways to give your plants good clean water... Britta Filter, or even better.. Zero Water filter. both come in pictures for easy drinking.. fill it a few times using supplied filter, pour into gallon milk jug add foods... walla. works awesome.

Currently all I do, fill water jugs, leave cap off so chlorine types evaporate away in between waterings...

23rd June
Noticing some calcium deficiency. Added calmag
1ml per ltr.

26th June
Fed 1ltr ph’d 6.4 water and 1ml per ltr calmag hopefully they’ll start to pick up soon.

29th June
Girls starting to look better now. Removed large fan leaves, a little defoliation and some lst to open up the middle for light penetration. Gave jacks 20,20,20 and calmag 1ml per ltr. Girls should be ready for flip on Friday end off week 5.

Oh yeah, they are coming around nicely. I don't really see a calcium def but it does not hurt to use the calmag and keep it good. If your using the cal mag liquids I'd not add more Epsom like Carty said.
Epsom is a great thing but like anything to much is not good.
I control Epsom and calcium in my grows with Jack's. Some use the liquids. All good no matter what route ya take.

I'm excited to see ya making it happen mate. This is a nice grow.
