First Indoor Grow Setup

Hi Guys.. Just wondering on what u guys think would be the best setup for growing 4 plants in a shed . I have more than enough room and will be making the frame from scratch. Just wanted to know tho what would be right with Fans eg where to place and how many , Also size of the room and finally how many lights to use . I currently have 4 1000W lights sitting around collecting dust so was thinking of hooking those up ...

Any help would be great

yea i have but the room was already set up .. Ive grown about 7 cycles which was a room of 2 only . I only used the 1000 during the growth then added a 600 for budding ...

1lan out your sq ft. you need 5k lumens a sq ft for flower

2: Find your cubic ft. you need to exchange your air once a minute or more. the cfm rating on the fan will give you what you need.

3: paint the inside flat white

4: Bleach room down. Then spray with floromite.

You have hoods for your lights?

You doing soil or hydro?

sweet thanks yeah i have hoods for the 1000s ... Doing a hydro but just tossing up between the coco and the rockwool setup once room is complete.

How big u think i should make the room for the for plants ?

I would do like 6x6 with 2k watts. Little extra room to move around it too.

what strains? make sure genetics are good, VERY important thing

I would set up a fan to bring in air from outside to run through the lights then exhale it outside the room also. I would get a second fan and mount it twards the top of the room and have it sucking out air and exhaling it outside. Now you can either have another fan blowing air in but i would just have some places where air can come in at the bottom of the shed walls and would put some sort of filter over the hole to keep bugs and pests out. if you have 4 1k lights i would build your shed big enough to accomidate all of them. I would make it 8ft-10ft that way you will have a little extra room but at least a 6-8. But keep us posted and good luck with everything peace out
