First Grow experiment.. Super Skunk

First... It's taking too damn long!!!

I'm a total noob so I apologize if this starts off as a rant.Didn't know how to start off just knew that I didn't have a reliable or convenient supplier.gif. After a little bit of research from places such as this and other websites decided that if my pipedream of great herb in a bountiful amount would ever come true would be to grow it myself. Went on-line and bought a 10 gal tupperware container preplumbed with a pump, net pots, clay pebbles and rockwool. Went to Home depot and bought two sheets of plywood and some 1X1X8s and constructed a fairly nice closet in the basement. Go some 100 watt equivalent cfls from lowes and some plugs and wired up 8 of them onto a metal grate. Ordered some mylar and then sent off to Amsterdam for some seeds. I grew up overseas and remember that Northern Lights was always a favorite smoke of mine and laid out $60 for 10 seeds. They came about 2 and a half weeks later and started germinating. Used the paper towel in a jar method and waited. Nothing happened!! after a week and a half got freakin frustrated and emailed the seed store and they said that I must have gotten a bad batch and that they would send me another order. Another two and half weeks later they came and the exact same thing happened.....NOTHING! Not even a small sprout. Figured I 'm not getting anywhere with this. Didn't know if I was doing it wrong or if they were bad seeds. Never did this before so I definitely could be at fault. Went to a different online store and looked for a seed for beginners. Superskunk fit the bill. supposed to grow 50 to 80 cm and ripe in 8 to 9 weeks. Recieved the seeds just after a week and started germinating 4 of them. 3 sprouted by the next day and after 4 days, 1 was still living. Put it into my 6 spaced hydro setup by its lonesome.

Started growing like weed. After three weeks I had one pretty good looking plant

This plant just kept on growing about a half inch to and inch a day and after 5 weeks of growing and getting massive I switched it into the vegging phase. It was mostly just big fan leaves and some new growth. When I posted this on the newbie section smokeybear informed me that these things stretch after they start vegging. Started the next day.

My plant has started producing. It isn't these massive colas that I see in the galleries but there is definitley some buds and crystals forming. The seed is supposed to be "ripe" in 8 to 9 weeks. So I have another month to go until I should be able to harvest. Now I read that to dry and cure it will take another 2 to 4 weeks. This would be a lot easier to do if I had a stash already. Please let the second grow be easier!

One thing i don't get is that if I had six plants... I would have to get a bigger closet and my hydro tuperware would be overfilled with roots.

What Super Skunk version is this? Sensi, Nirvana, Seedsmans or what companies.

Ill follow this grow along. Im going to try to grow some autos with just CFLs maybe. Plus I love some Skunk grows.

When can I cut this sucker down.. and I keep on hearing about that it will take 2 weeks to 6 months to dry and cure this.. what should I be expecting?

what is auto? .. just the hydro technique or something else?!

Probably have a couple more weeks to go. When the trichs start changing colors.

Autos are plants that dont need any special lightcycle. They flower on their own. Also come very small. Most between 1-2 feet only.

look'n good berkley. i have a very similar tub but it's 4 gallons with 4 pots.
with mine, i had to cover all the blue with black tape then covered that with reflectix insulation because i was getting some kinda slime developing.
what you using for lights?
