Quick update. I'll get more tonight when I go back. Didn't have much time to stay because of work and life. But I'll be going back there around 10pm to take some early cuttings off the SkunkOG. Got a friend in need of clones so time to break out the cloner and get started early for him.
Defoliation of damaged leaves done by my grow partner "Steve". I'll call him Steve from now on, until he eventually joins us here on MP.

She is looking SOO much healthier now.

The 3 Lemon Lime Sherbert are doing better than the rest of the seeds we put into soil.

Picante poked through(Right)
One of the AutoSeeds Dreamberry also poked through the surface(left)

French Macaroon and one other were also up but I had very limited time this morning so I will have to get over there again tonight.

We are probably going to stretch veg time by a couple months. Let some of these seedlings grow before some HST hits the room.
Were removing the netting frame tonight and will be using floaters thanks to the success I've seen greenmobster440 have with them.
Pineapple express is still not sprouting. Might have to get another seed going sooner than expected if I don't see leaves in the next couple days.
Gonna bring a heating pad down for the tray of seedlings tonight. Hopefully speed this up a bit.
I'll have another update late this evening.

So that fkr fell asleep on me. Guess I'll have to wake him up at 5am to get some stuff done down in the grow room.
Here's what's been going through my head all day...
I'm gonna lay down the SkunkOG instead of taking cuttings right now. Get her to bush out a little and then set up the tent and cloner.
We have plenty of time before we flip so I have no issues about filling the whole space.
Ordered a 5 pack of 20 gallon soft pots for the heaviest yielders. Looking to hit the outdoor estimates indoors on up to 5 plants. 4 of them I have yet to germ but will get those started up in another week or two.

G13 seeds Pineapple Express can yield 950g/plant outdoors
G13 seeds Northern Lights x Skunk 900g/plant outdoors
G13 seeds OG13 900g/plant outdoors
Blimburn seeds Green Crack 800g/plant outdoors

Going to pop 2 NLxS and a single OG13 along with a second PE in the coming weeks. That gets me to 5 heavy yielding plants for those 20 gallon pots.
I am expecting a minimum 3-4 month veg and lots of heavy training on those. I would like to go longer in veg if possible but that will depend on the yield of the 5 autos.
We're down to 1.5lbs of smoke for the rest of this grow. And it's gonna be a long one.
Floaters will definitely make it all so much more manageable. Especially in 20gallon pots.
4'x4' section for each plant.
Was informed today we have a total of 11 600w LEDs to use. Only 7 hanging. I thought there were only 10 but he has another that hasn't even been removed from the box yet.
This will allow for 2 in the 8x4 and 9 in the room.
Hopefully by the morning I will see more sprouts without my heating pad being required. I really wanted to set that up tonight to help them take off. Nothing I can do about it now.
I need to get this soon... Screenshot_20241209_233210_eBay.jpg
The old one stopped working and I want to save the hassle of turning the lights up or down myself. I will probably go with the cheap $50 par meter first and get the TrolMaster one when taxes roll in.

I'll be back in the AM with more.

Hooray, time for another update.
Alternator shot.
Update over. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Seriously though.
SkunkOG pinched above 3rd node. Dropped her down to 90°. Brought the light above her to 55% power 40 DLI reading on the app. It's slightly high for week 3 but I think it was at least a week old when we got it so I'm jumping ahead a bit on the DLI chart.
Filling the co2 tanks in a week or 2 to allow for the 55 DLI high growth of the charts. 7 weeks at 55 for the autos should allow for some serious veg explosions on some of the supercropped plants were working towards.

I originally wanted to go final pot after solo cups but 20 gallon from solo would waste a lot of electricity. One light per 6"-12" plant in a 36" wide pot is not going to keep costs down.
So were going to use 3 gallon and 7 gallon pots for now. 3 gallon for the photos as a transition pot before final and 7 for the autos as their final pot.
some photos are going to be finished out in 10 gallon. 3-5 in 20s with major supercropping under a floater.
To assist further in the floater experiment, I'll be making 12"², 24"², and 48"² floaters for this crop. 48s will be for the 20g pots.
If GM is pulling 8oz per 22" screen, I should have the potential to 4x in a 48" with a very healthy heavy yielder.. as long as I can fill said screen in a 7-8 week long veg plus the 12/12 stretch. The last time I supercropped I didn't use a screen or net. This time I want a more even canopy while also increasing yield. Anything over 20 oz a plant will be nearly double the indoor estimates from the seedbank for a m² scrog/sog. Should be interesting to see what the end result is. I've done months of training in the past but always free floating and never under a screen. I want to be able to control the stretch without pinning everything down and keeping everything mobile, so GM's floaters are a must in this situation.

Feel free to answer this one question...
What was your largest yield indoors for a single plant?

Going back at 8-9am to swap out the alternator. Vehicle barely made it there and it was not coming home. His garage is empty, we got 2"-4" of rain expected tomorrow and my garage has a civic rebuild in it. 4" that's alot right ladies? Average then? No? 🤣🤣🤣

I'll get a pic of her bounce back in the AM. She still hadn't turned up after an hour so I didn't have time to catch it tonight.

One dreamberry is still not releasing its shell. Tap root is locked down so I expect to see her sprouted by tomorrow with the rest.
One Plushberry and the Honeycomb solo cups got tossed. Couldn't handle the 60° temps in there the last week.. so they didn't sprout. That leaves us with 13 plants right now. 11 seedlings, 1 more hopefully tomorrow and the clone.
Here's the sprouts, some of which are barely popping up, but they aren't important yet so thumbnails it is. 🤣

Definitely need to get the heater and humidifier down these ASAP. I'll bring the heating pad tomorrow too. Forgot it today.

Staring at seedlings isn't as mesmerizing as trichs but soon enough we'll have some autos going strong.
Plan for the autos is, week 3 of veg I'll lay them down, by week 4 or 5 I should have enough of a base for a floater. Continue pulling down and out until week 9 or 10. And then let them finish up from there.

Heading to the grow again. Just got lucky. Scored a practically brand new remanufactured alternator for $35 already on the shelf. Junkyard gods were friendly to me today. Bomb cyclone here in New England. Torrential downpours and insane wind.
1000002480.jpg

I'll give a room update after this gets taken care of.

Reman was a bust. Damn thing didn't even work. So I took it back to the junkyard and swapped it out for another one. Success! Up and running with only 2 days out of work. Not bad. Could have been worse.

SkunkOG bounced back at some point last night.

All remaining seeds have now sprouted
20241211_170239.jpg

In 2 weeks we'll be using another 2 sets of lights. We'll be repotting most or all of these by then.
Ordering the par meter tomorrow. Then the one for the hydro x controller 20241211_170428.jpg
Humidity is making a come back. As welll as the temps. Next is automated DLI control. Humidifier controller, and variable fan controller.. I figured they'd make good Christmas presents for my buddy.

1000002485.jpg

At least the temp and humidity both came up without extra power usage. Bomb cyclone to thank for that.

What should my VPD range be?

Learning so much with the new lighting systems. I remember... if you could put your hand there and it didn't burn, it was good.... 🤣
Now I have to measure my PPFD, PAR, DLI, VPD. sounds like a bunch of diseases for the southern region of the body. 🤣🤣🤣
