Alright, there wasn't a plan for an update tonight. I was at Walmart when the phone rang. "Dude you gotta get over here ASAP!"
So off I went. Just to find out that it was not anything to be worried over.
3 seeds that were thrown into germ yesterday afternoon are already popping tails. So I planted those into solo cups.
Only 1 auto of 2 originally germing have popped.
Ultra Lemon Haze by AutoSeeds
I added the other ULH to germ along with the 2 remaining Dreamberry seeds. Giving me 4 autos in germ and one in a cup. I'll update on that when it sprouts.
G13 Labs Pineapple Express and G13 Labs Picante both into solo cups today as well.
Of the straggling sprouts, 1 Plushberry sprouted today. The other 1 and the Honeycomb are still not showing signs of sprouting even though they were both very strong looking seeds after germination.
So currently we have a 3 week old clone of SkunkOG (not doing so well, please help if you can. Any advice will be tested to try to help her recover.) I'll get into her details down below.
Less than 1 week Sprouts
3x Lemon Lime Sherbert
1x Plushberry
Seeds in soil:
1x Plushberry
1x Honeycomb
1x Ultra Lemon Haze
1x Pineapple Express
1x Picante
Seeds in germ:
3x Dreamberry
1x Ultra Lemon Haze
1x French Macaroon
Now is time for the required assistance.
Backstory,
Purchased clones on 11/19 in a solo cups and ready for transplant. Unaware that they were infested watered them and put them under lights. By the end of week 1 I noticed some form of leaf mining going on and went in for an inspection. Thrips. On every leaf of both plants.
Monterey spinosad and water mixture was created and sprayed till complete saturation. Along with the soil and the whole 8'x4' section they were housed in.
3 days later, babysitter was sexed as male through and through. Culled right away due to no space for males until January or February 2025.
We repotted the SkunkOG into a 7 gallon and gave her full strength nutes.
Advanced Nutrients SensiGrow parts a and b. They are supposed to be pH perfect nutes. Unfortunately he mixed in some unnecessary CalMag+ which also contains Nitrogen. All of which are already in the sensi.
And I THINK this is where everything started going bad. Leaves darkened, clawed down and we have definite tip burn on old and new growth. Signs appeared to point to N toxicity. So flushed with 25% nutes and waited for the recovery from the overwatering.
pH of the root zone is right around 5.8-5.9 so I don't THINK that it is the problem. Now I can always be wrong here. But I'd like some advice either way that could possibly assist in the cause and a solution to help get her back on track.
We are operating at 40% power on the 600w setups. I believe it's 75w per bar, 8 bars per light. Covering each 4'x4'. That's with 2 lights per 8'section. 3 lights on at the moment. 1 way in the air and not directly over anything for increased heat in the room. The others are 18" & 24" above the top of the clone(18") and seedlings(24")
Ignore the lower sunleaves that are brown from leaf mining thrips and the nute burn combined. I just want to fix the new growth before I give up and call a code blue on her.
Thanks in advance for your time and advice.
