does anyone else here go to rummage sales?

Hi peeps. I'm new here so I'm sticking around the newbie area still my babies are looking great, they are about 6 inches tall woohoo keepin them watered with lots of love what's new everyone? :hubba: I'm stayin busy over here. I have found that rummage sales are great for searching for goodies! does anyone else here like those? I have found some really great camping tools and cast iron cookware. Last month I found a bunch of neon lights from a rental company, they were 10 dollars for 5 fixtures with working bulbs plus extra bulbs too. that was a pretty cool find. We've been rummaging a few months now- once a month. Thanks for having me here.

i found my 400 watt hps ballast at a yard sale ,,,lady said it belonged to her son and did not even know what he used it for (did not have the hart to tell her)it had all the cables and a bat wing ,,,,she did not even have a price on it ,,,i asked will ya take 20$ ,,,she could not believe i would give her 20$ for it ,,,,she said it was old and to only give her 10$ as i was leaving she said oh ya would you like the bulb that gos with it ,,,she gave me the bulb free ,,,,i love yard sales ,,,,p,l,r (almost forgot WELCOME )

Over the years, I have accumulated a vinyl music collection with about 8,500 different albums, and 300 45's...I worked in a metro area and travelled all around the area, hitting the garage sales between service calls. 90 pcnt. of my record collection came from those sales.

I don't do much yard sal BUT
I do Storage's though and when they call me I go on the days they have to peek at the stuff and put in my bid and hope to get it!!
Last time I went I bided on 8 storages and got all of them but I only ended up with 2 and made my money back and plus some..

I use to be a dumpseter diver, but Now I am Storage Diver,,
