do fresh leaves matter???

do the leaves and trimming have to be fresh or can i start cooking butter as soon as i clip them from the plant??? can i use to stems by the budd as well??? should i strain this when im done and how much butter to how mich trim and leaf??? ohh yeah one more thing how long do i simmer the butter???

You can use em as soon as you clip ! I recomend simmering in a crock pot all day, butter to clipping ratio depends on how strong you would like your butter to be !
