curling leaves/newbie

I received my first plant as a gift ten days ago. I keep it on an east-facing windowsill where it gets lots of sun. I gave it some general plant fertilizer on the fourth day.

I transplanted it 3 days ago into a larger container, using Black Gold potting soil.

Three of the lower leaves are starting to curl, one curling down sharply, and two curling upward slightly.

I am looking for suggestions on what to do about the curling.

Hard to say without pics. Sunlight is your source of light I assume
