couple questions.

Alright, a Neighbor Gave me 16 pre-germinated seeds. they germinated them for me. and gave them to me. so I planted them all in a peat moss.

I'm going with CFL, Simply for the purpose of : It's cheap And it works =D

So I'm going to use "23W" 100W equivelent CFL's.

Now.. for 16 Plants.. How much room am i going to need and how much light per square foot.

I don't want them to get to tall. Shorter the better. like 3-4feet.
I have a fan to use, one of the standing ones. that can turn.

I'm not going with co2 or anything fancy. just plain simple and cheap.

Would Really Appreciate some aid here, as this is my first grow, Thank you. Since I could get lights right away I have 2 x 60W's and 2 x 25Watts. Yeah I know.. Not Much but better than nothing......right? =S lol

i think 16 plants is a little much for cfl's IMO. you'd need like 40 of em prob. you could 12/12 from seedling, all 16 under 1-400hps which you can get from inside-sun for 100 bucks. JMO

cfls work fine. i would buy some of the round reflectors and some y's (makes 1 socket in to 2) then just keep them about an inch away from the plants. you can start out with 2 bulbs per plant or even use floros to veg. keeping them very close to the plant. as close as you can without touching the plant. start them in dixie cups 1 per cup. then add more lights as they grow.. just as some type of guide 5000 lumens psqf is a good amount of light. hope this helps good luck

no they wouldn't burn your house down.lol i have almost 20 in my flowering box.. and will most likly add more in a few days.. 12/12 from start is a good idea. remember not all 16 will be females.

I would rather spend money on cfl's cause i can always use them in the future and there lower on the bill =P

it will only be like 84 total watts used but you'll recieve 300 watts of light.. the 42 watt cfls are equal to a 150 incandesent. and you can grow them on a 12/12 light cycle and as soon as the are mature they will start to flower. this means your plants will stat smaller and still put out budz. heres a link to a plant i grew on a 12/12 light cycle.

hey mr. man, this is what cfls can do, 32 of them... but this is just three plants for 16 you will need alot more cfls than that!!!!

anywhere outside you could hide them. live near any wilderness..maybe you could spread a few of them around outdoors that way you can concentrate on fewer plants indoors, just a thought. personally, id rather have a medium amount of primo smoke than a pound of lesser quality smoke..JMO

ROTFLMFAO--You want to grow 16 plants (that will produce 1+ lb of bud) and you can't spend $100 on a light? You'd better find another "hobby".

Okay, So I've decided I'm Going to Plant some of these suckers..Outside..
1 of them actually is planted outside, i forgot to mention that.. But how many should I grow inside?

How many 100Watt CFL's will I need Per Plant in the long run?
because i wanna be prepared. AndI am going to be putting the bulbs close to the plants as possible without touching and cooling isn't a problem.

Maybe I should Sprout the plants i have then replant most of them outside?
Maybe just grow 4 inside? I'm not sure, that's Why I'm here =P

And If I plant seeds outside now, will I get Bud this year?
