Hello friends...as I sit here this fine Sunday morning thinking ......I have a test grow at another site and would like some input on what Im thinking...okay most people like to veg at 18/6...and most say sex is shown 5-6 week from germination...Now because I run my veg area 24/0 that would meen my plants gain a day every 4 days???? I have these plants showing sex in week 4....if my math is correct..my plants are really 7 weeks old?

I find the odd plant shows sex shortly after 4 weeks sometimes, but still most are closer to 6 weeks or even longer.

I believe that they are the same "age" whether veged 18 or 24... I am just thinking. I am thinking I need another hit. GL 4U.

never tried to sex a plant with a 24 hr veg my good friend---if you are talking about flipping them sooner cause they are growing faster---than absolutely---happy new year

let me try again...I germed a pack seeds..and they veg under 24 hrs light...and they just showing sex at 4 weeks..I was wondering if the extra light a day..was making them mature faster???....man this DBB is gooooooood:bong:

I have been using a 24-0 veg schedule for at least a year probably longer and it still takes most of my plants from seed 5-6 weeks to show. I have the oddball every now and then that shows at 4 and a couple that go past 6 weeks but for the most part it's 5-6 weeks. I don't think the light schedule makes them older or younger, just helps with stretch. I think it has zero effect on plant Maturity, but that is just my opinion.

I started running lights 24hrs this year..allways ran 18 on...just thinking the extra light...

pardon my misunderstanding---4u---i cannot sex without flipping---alternating nodes or not---they get flipped at 3'---some sex earlier than others---but i am sure you will like the 24 hr veg program

yes i run 24/7 i get pre flwr most the time @ 4-5 weeks, but the last 2 have been closer to 6 weeks. id say the plant more than the light. i run almost al indica

I'm with most people here, its strain depended imo. 18/6 or 24 hour veg and I seem to get pre-flwrs around the same time. I like your thinking though
