My dog loves to do that.....I will pass if you don't mind. However, I can't wait until the ice comes off the lakes in the higher elevations. I will be sitting in a float tube at dawn temp will probably be 25f with water temps in the high 30's. You better have the right equipment or your will freeze your arize off.

Just add snow cold temps and 10,000 ft above sea level and you get the picture.

That is impressive. Do you see any eagles up there?

Both Golden and Bald eagles nest and live here. The mountains are full of wildlife. Bear, deer, elk and moose are common sites here. Saw a mountain lion last summer. Which is rare.

By the way that isn't me in the picture....you would NEVER catch me with a spinning rod in my hands.

I live near the Blue Ridge Mountains. The eagles are usually on the lakes near the dams. Although, I will see a stray osprey every once in awhile. They follow the rivers looking for fish I guess. Red tail hawks like to stay near the river too. There are some nice state and local parks near me. I would hate living in the city.

I don't live in the city, just above it. I hate going there. I stay close to the house or go into the mountains. I have thought about moving to a more isolated area but to dug in and old.

I live near a small town myself.
I didn't say I lived near a small town.....Denver isn't small to me. Way to many people. I would love to move to a small town though. Downtown is about 20 miles from me. I am at the base of the mountains above the city.
