I am growing a single auto ak47 x lowryder #2 seedling amongst a few other plants (1 16" clone 4 weeks in flower, and 2 small plants i put in flower from seed that are also 4 weeks old). I have a 430watt hps, and 4 26watt 2700k cfls as side lighting, in my growbox. Since the lowryder thrives off of at least 20 hrs of light, i take the seedling out when my lights kick off in the box, and put it in a window that gets direct sunlight. So, here's my question to u all, is sunlight enough for her for these 12 hrs or should i put her under 2 26watt cfls, or should i do BOTH? What would be most beneficial to my lil baby???

I'd use the cfls but i'd make sure I had 30-50w per square ft. CFLs are easier to control than the sun:).

Thanks bbp, i'll use cfls only. And I'm just gonna put my other small dwc system in a 20 gal rubbermaid to make it my "growbox" for the hours she's out of the main growbox. And if i use 2 cfls, should i use 2 2700k, 2 6500k, or 1 of each??? It being a lowryder seedling, i wasn't sure if u totally skip the veg lighting when they're small.

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to line my lil rubbermaid box with mylar, and put 2 2700k AND 2 6500k 26watters over my lil lowryder. That'll give her about 6800 lumens i believe.
