had a question. is it possible to cut some bud off my tree and they will regrow? i have caterpillars doing some heavy damage to my tree.

had a plant a few years ago that got dried up and lost all of its leafs and buds, so i continued to water about three weeks later it start growing more leafs and buds.

so i would like to know since caterpillars are eating at my crop can i cut the buds and have them regrow? would hate to pull the whole plant would be a major lost its about 10' tall and the fight with thepillars are endless

thanks for any help

Hey yaoming, the term you're looking for is revegging. Just cut the plant back to the required size, increase the light to 18 hours a day and start feeding grow nutes, high in nitrogen.
