I like the outdoors better anyways...21 seeds of a decent strain of sweet MJ....I would want to grow for a good harvest for me and my friends (And I do have alot). I would plant a MALE and FEMALE in a seperate location to get more seeds for next year...and let the females grow in another place. But I want to grow them in pots so they can move if need be for "stealth" reasons. How big should they be? Also, I can get water from a nearby stream if need be--is that better than tap water? I read a bunch of guides, any input or pics to help appreciated!

I would go with 5 gallon pots if growing outside. Them roots are gonna need some room. ;) As far as using water from a stream that would not be a problem IMHO.

IMHO... the reason for growing outdoors is to get the fantastic yeilds, which can only (well... not only, but most likely) be obtained by not confining root growth, as a pot/planter would do... so you are better off planting right into the earth. But... like you said, if you need to move them, then in a pot/planter is the way to go.

As big a pot as you could manage if you had to move them is what you want... and if you think about it, a 5 gallon bucket filled with wet dirt is pretty heavy, so keep that in mind. A dolly could help there....

I guess it's just what you guys call bagseed, just got some seeds from a friend...So grow them until they show their sex...I'm very unsure about this, and idk why. I'm kinda nervous, I want to get this right but no time loike the first I geuss, so going to hit it my best and go. Compost is fine for soil? I'm thinking of just doing topsoil from my field, mixed with some compost...

I'm going to use LST also for a better chance of my ladies not getting taken away from me

Thanks, and good luck man!! I won't start germinating until mid April, then May plant, and sex, then transplant in mid June. I've been reading so much lately, I hope everything goes right.. I just have bagseed
