I have never read that high phosphorous causes a nitrogen lock out.

Do you know how much P there is in phosphoric acid that is often used to ph down? it is a lot and by using that stuff without factoring it in leads to excess P issues.

Can you elaborate? I lower the P earlier than that at about 5 weeks in. I used to use equal P and K till till week 8 but recently I heard from some sources that you need much more K than P in bulking phase. However the results were not quantifiable as i am not in a laboratory setup so there are lots of variables but I would like to hear your take on this. Thanks!
