It's about being too proud, too angry, etc... the term is a metaphor, that the evangelicals and prohibitionists have taken literally to mean intoxicated on a substance. Thus have created a morality based upon this incorrect assumption.
I came to this forum, because I have been a marijuana grower for a very long time, and I thought that someone here might care enough to get information out to the public that has been tossed into the memory hole, neglected by the media, and concerns the liberty of every person on this forum.
However my experience has been something other than that at this particular forum, which prompted this thread.
It is hard to get information out to the public that has the ability to turn the tables on the "fear" invoked by the media, that has brought about public support for the war on drugs. The media only cares about political correctness, and not reality as it manifests it's self into facts. So a grass roots effort is necessary, and the legalization effort began as a grass roots effort, and still is primarily. It is not over yet, and I have information that should scare the public out of the war on drugs. I hoped to enlist some help, but, oh well.....
