24/7 vs 18/6

I Started growing two weeks ago 2 plants, they look well.
Can any one point out the benefits of growing with lights for 24/7 against 18/6?

1 marijuana needs light to grow and does not require a dark period
2 you gain 42hr of light a week with the 24/7 over 18/6 almost 2 full days of growth per week.
3 Because the plant is growing faster you shorten the time to sexual maturity

Thats just my opinion

Everything ozzy said plus less stretching in veg, which equals shorter squat plants come time to flip.

Shorter bushier plants have more bud sites and therefore, has more bud.

Unless you have terrific heat problems that you cannot control in the middle of the summer during an extremely hot period, I see no upside to running lights 18-6.

I agree with all above Plus I have run it both ways and see no real benefit to 18/6 during veg other than heat control or promoting stretch.

With 24/0 your plants probably grow faster. The main thing I like about growing 24/0 is you don't have to worry about light leaks or time schedules.
