Everything's lookin good puffmadizm. When everything is closed and running, what are the temperatures like?
I suggest getting a tripod..... Also, when those trichs start popping, you can maybe get a few good shots.... When using macro your flash will probably autoset to off.... Turn that on to force fire it.... get your macro and zoom set to blow the pic up as close as possible where it will still focus. If the pic comes out too bright... do NOT turn off the flash, use the software in the camera in the brightness setting to limit the exposure to the light setting that you like best.... May take a little practice, but kinda fun to fool around with.
You may also want to play around with the dirrerent light spectrums.... I like the Flourescent setting for Trich pics.
Have fun
