wondering about my indica and its flowering

thats what i had thought at first too HIck it seemed strange to trim off some life if and while it was still giving it to the rest of the plant ( thought long and hard back to the high school life science class ) so i still didnt have the heart to go and cut off my girls "clothing"
 
thanks for that some have yellowed and gotton weak enough that a slight touch has made them come off ( about 6-8 where they were growing out the same on opposing sides)but some of the others about another 4-6 are slightly yellow and are hanging on still) and there is a few green ones at the top where they came in new once the flowering started
 
I'll remove the dead ones, too. Anything that falls off with the slightest of 'tugs'. But I find it difficult to remove green ones with a clear consience..:p
