Just 10-15 years ago, if you wanted to grow at home, you were probably running an hps, cmh, or mh light in a spare room or closet. Now days we have cheap affordable led grow lights that run cool. Grow tents, ac infinity products that help automate your home grow as well as other companies that are making similar products, self watering systems, all kinds of fertilizers and grow medias designed specifically for growing cannabis. Man have we got it good! Oh, and let's not forget. All of this can be ordered and shipped right to your house in just a few days from the convenience of your own phone. All while sitting on your couch.

Who else is grateful 🙏 for the wonderful times that will live? It's never been better to be a home growers than it is right now!

Yes. And the constant fear. I was all nerves for 9 months out of the year over having homemade high power work with cables and duct tape and shit all over the place. Those magnetic ballasts gave out some strange energy. Like I could "feel" them in the air. Creepy. I could never get a good nights sleep when they were on.

And back then the cops were crazy over it, They did flyovers with heatcameras and stuff over parts of the country. Now they have.. Bigger problems, which may not be a good thing actually.

Me and my girlfriend at the time had to sleep in my living room because the bedroom got as hot as an oven. We didn't care though, we had lots of weed.

I didn't grow indoors for a good 10 years because I had small children, and coming back it's like another world and I feel relaxed and safe about not coming home to a pile of ash. I don't even think the heat cams can spot an LED-tent inside a building if it's not up against a window.

AND POWAH. Power man. It's not even close. Now it pulls like a somewhat modern PC.

I'm only speaking for myself and my size grow of course.

Love the new tech. The ordering and shipping thing still makes me nervous. When I first started out everything was bought with cash only, in store and you gave a fake name. Usually drove about 100 miles past a couple grow supply places before you pulled over and purchased. It still gives me butterflies when I order equipment or seeds. Never know when Leo may change his mind and rear his ugly head.

I didn't start growing (or smoking) before it became legal in my state. I wasn't deterred by the laws. I just wasn't interested. By the time I got involved there were already lights and tents, etc. widely available. Now I'm hooked on growing and can't smoke a tenth of what I harvest. So I give it away happy to help foil the tax collectors.

Let's take my new setup for example. I have a 20"x36"x5' grow tent, set up with a viparspetra 250 watt full spectrum led. I paid $135 for that light. It would work for a 2x4 tent if I needed it to. I has a nice dimmer switch built into the light. It is going to pull the same juice from the wall as a ceiling fan with 3 or 4 75watt bulbs from back in the 90's. And it was delivered to my house for the modest price of $135.

Just got my new AC filter and oscillating fan installed the other day and new controller. Tent will hold 80F with just a 4" inline fan at 50%.

I'm getting a 2x4 kit and keeping my 2x2. I've seen a Spider Farmer kit but it's with a pretty weakish board type light of 200W. I've become spoilt with a bar light now and I don't think I wan't to go board again if the price isn't attractive enough.

If you want a larger tent. Vevor's 2x4x6ft has the same specs as a AC Infinity (22mm poles and 2000D fabric). The SpiderFarmer is slightly larger/taller with similar specs. All are well under $150

$20 off atm too on the SpiderFarmer tent https://www.amazon.com/Spider-Farmer-Hydroponic-Observation-Growing/dp/B083K58ZJZ?th=1

I run 2 Viparspectra XS1500s in my 2x4x6ft and even at 75% its plenty for that amount of coverage.
I'm running 2 viparspectra xs1500 pros and you are right... lots of light there!
