Hello!

Can anyone recommend a good place to shop online? I also need advice on what inline fan to buy that is quiet to go along with this light.

Thanks,
RJ

Everyone here raves about htgsupply.com

I got a glut of differing hps's and none have burned out or spontaneously combusted...lol...but have never ordered from them. Justr started using 1000bulbs.com for cheapo lamps. $22.00 for an other wise $110.00 lamp..lol...gotta love it.

Inline fans are quite noisy...you can build a box to put it in which will muffle it. I think it might be in the DIY section. I also use 1000bulbs.com for my bulbs. I hve heard nothing but good things from the place pcduck linked you to.

He's got er down. :aok: I started ordering at 1000bulbs.com (talk about a better buy Hammy) instead of at my local indoor/hydro supplier and have been happy ever since. mad props to ya, Hammy.

Thanks for the links and info!

I did see the diy fan box and I have to say I was very impressed with that idea; I think by doing that along with a variable speed control the noise should be almost nothing, I would hope.

As would using insulated duct work:)

I have found that much of my noise was eliminated when I began using insulated duct work.:)

I don't know if it is possible for you to locate your fan remotely, but my fan is in my crawl space under my bedroom and I can not hear it at all. I also use insulated ducting.
