Flipped to 12+12 15 days ago had to dial down to 750 watts from 1000 watt seemed like I was starting to bleach two of the plants might be wrong not sure see what this does could be slight nutrient problem or my imagination

Do the plants seem to wilt at the end of the light cycle...? You could move the light further away from the plants.

Yes they do seem to be alittle droopy at end of cycle. My Temps are staying good do you think a 1000 watt hps is to much for a 4×4 tent ? Or your saying leave it at 1000 watts and just raise the light already at 30 inches away

I never really made any seed till now they are Banana kush crossed with super skunk but one plant loves were light is and the other two seem to be lighter green so I'm also wondering if two plants took on different traits and don't like that much light

I would move the droopy plant further away until it gets used to it. You wild be surprised how different pants turn out from the same batch of seeds.

I recently popped 4 Donkey Piss seeds. On was a male two grew normally and one is shorter more bushy.

Appreciate the advice will give that a try. Yea it seems like the two plants seem alote like the banana kush and want tons of nutrients, and the big plant seems like the super skunk . Thanks again

30" is a long ways but obviously necessary to maintain environment.

1K hps in a tent requires such drastic measures to ensure proper VPD.

You're doing well. Carry on.

Thanks much . Yea keeping heat right would never be possible if it wasn't winter pulling air from outside at night is they only way have been able to keep Temps right

1000w in 4x4 is okay but is more than the minimum requirement, plants will love it just take that into consideration with the distance and intensity. Nice plants!

for what it's worth I used a 1K HPS in a 5x5 tent 8' tall and took it out within a month...I felt there was way too much light for such a small area...I've found CMH lamps work great...less power and heat...keep a vigilant eye on the plants, they can bleach and burn easily...good luck...

I have an adjustable Cool Tube so I can turn down the power and I got a bunch of LEDs I can switch over and do that if I have to thanks for the advice

Well marijuana plants can use sunlight as bright as the brightest sunny day and grow better than if it were a little bit less, meaning that they still use it up when it is that bright. I think that the distance from the canopy is key and of course keep it well vented. I wouldn't mix up LEDs and HPS

BAM!!!!!!!!!! Exactly!!!! Light distance from the canopy is the best way to solve that and the advice to not mix HPS and LED is not the advice I would give. The added color is a major plus for both trichome production and the overall potency of the flowers. You just have to be aware of the direction of the light pattern of the LEDs. It will be difficult to see as the HPS will overpower the LED colors. The problem arises from the distance from the canopy. LEDs usually require more distance which means the reflector will block light from the LEDs.

Gotcha im going to work on distance over next couple days . Hopefully take care of it . And thanks for advice on the led,s because I have run them with hps before in other grows and was always wondering if it had done any good or just a waste of electricity
