Figured I'd spin up a journal, this will likely be on-going with a lot of variation due to some big life changes in the works.

The current situation is pretty simple. Here are the specs:

1x 4ft x 4ft x 7ft tent.
ScrOG 3" netting

2x Enfun qb boards, running at 200 actual watts for 400w total
1x Growstar s600 running at 120 actual watts

Intake - AC Infinity S6 with speed controller
Exhaust - AC Infinity T6 with speed controller
50 pint dehumidifier

2x site DIY dutch bucket system
19 gallon reservoir filled to 12 gallons

Nutrients:
Front Row AG Part A & B
MOAB
Dynagrow Protekt
Hygrozyme
H2o2

As of today feed sits at 744 PPM, 5.5 pH

Genetics this run are clones of one pheno I selected from a seed batch of Dragon's Flame Genetics Love Stash F1. My ol lady is a fan of this due to its aphrodisiac effects and non-debilitating nature, though this run I intend on running past ten weeks before pulling. Last run with this strain (not the same clones) I pulled at 8.5 weeks, so we'll see how she does.

Anyways, we're 43 days into flower today, here is the montage to get y'all up to speed.

Well that works pretty nice for just two plants....

I have a plant that grows wider than taller , like 5’ tall and 15’ wide

Q-boards are the way to grow, I built a 300watt myself and 2 plants did great under the panels too.
What type of feed system are you running how often does it supply water to plants
Very Nice Indeed.

I'm running a 160gph submersible pump that feeds into 1/2" feed line to 3/16" or whatever the standard size dripper line is. Full bore, no drippers or misters or anything like that on the end. Each site has one line running to it, top feeding.

The pump is running every 30 minutes for 15 minutes at a time at this phase, starting 30 minutes after lights on and stopping 30 minutes before lights off. During veg it was running every 15 minutes for 15 minutes during lights on, and once an hour during light off.

I've realized I really should be running a digital timer instead of analog.

For return (this is the fatal flaw in this design) I am running 3/4" elbows into 2" PVC which gravity feeds back to the reservoir. The elbows sit 1 3/4" above the bottom of the buckets, and the buckets are 3 gallon food grade (recycled from a bakery).

Just before switching to flower, site one (the bucket on the left) decided it wanted to run roots clear to the reservoir and plug up the drain elbow. Needless to say, I woke up one day to several gallons of nutrient solution on the floor of the tent.

As a possible fix, I finagled site two's root mass out of its bucket and replaced the conduit elbow with a PVC double elbow -- this was no easy feat and so only did site two due to it being a complete PITA. Since then I've done religious root trimming on site one to keep the drain open and haven't had another flood event.

The lesson I learned here was I should've paid more attention to the commercial veggie croppers designs from which I borrowed the design.🤦‍♂️

Thank You I like to see when a plan comes together. Nice Plants once again

The girls are gettin thic. Layin down on the job. Gotta do something about that. Frost is coming in nice, this run there's a florally sweet dominant smell with a funky cheese undertone to it at this point. They're really expressing themselves quite admirably, despite the bleaching and foxtails.

Now at 75% max strength of MOAB, base nutrients down to 55% where we were a couple weeks ago. Saturday will bump MOAB to 100%, and base nutes to 50% and run like that for two weeks. Then, drop the MOAB entirely and finish these girls out at around week 10 or 11, depending how they're looking.

Also picked up a new accessory for the main piece yesterday. The OE down stem was seized up, then I ended up breaking it in the extraction efforts, so hit the head shop, got a new down stem and an ash catcher.

Just a quick one for today. MOAB is now at 100% and base nutes at 50%. Will run at this level for the next week, then cut everything by 25% each res change out the following week. Planning on a one week flush with pH'ed water for week 10 and will chop at that point as I predict the trichomes will be mature and I'll have extracted all these girls can give by then. Looks like they're starting to fade a bit anyways, so they know their time is coming near.

I also made up a batch of infused coconut oil Saturday night. Overall threw ~30g decarboxylated sugar leaf, larf, and flower in with a heaping cup of coconut oil and let it sit on low heat for a few hours. Came out with a nice pistachio ice cream color, and the ol lady said it has the distinct earthy flavor -- strong enough to make her gag lol. Hoping it'll help my buddy with his RA and OA. Think I'm going to dig into doing more cooking with this stuff, save some people a fortune on the dispensary products when it costs me almost nothing to produce.

What LED panels are you using in your tent?

Thanks,

Bubba
