Thank you, OHC! :D

Finally went shopping today and bought:

-125 watt daylight CFL
-120mm CPU fan for the second intake

But after getting home and screwing in the light, it ended up being a dud! So after taking it back (it had a 1 year warranty) and getting a replacement ,that we tested out in the shop to make sure it worked, finally installed it without a problem. I also installed the fan and hooked it up in parallel with the other intake fan in the front. So in total I have 2 intake and 2 outake fans, mroe than enough air exchange I think! :hubba:

When the light is on the temp gets to around 84 degrees and when its off (with fans still running) it gets down to around 74 degrees, so slightly cooler than the warm bulb but this might be due to the extra fan I installed that helps to cool the bulb a little bit.

Finally, got an email from Drchronic that my card was declined for some reason but wasn't charged. So I decided to go with Attitude's Lowryder 2 seeds, which also came with 2 free seeds (that I plan on growing in the spring outdoors! :D)

It's been a while so I thought I'd give an update!

Just got an e-mail this morning that my beans entered the US through New York!

So I should have them and be able to really start this journal anytime this week!

IMO you are still to hot when the lights are on you need to get below 80* with 70* to 75* being the ideal temp.

Very nice little setup you got here. I'll be interested to see how this works out. If it does well, I may have to try something like this.

I have some spare wood I can build me a little box out of, and plenty of fans.

One thought on the heat...you could use a Dremmel tool, and cut some bigger holes, and go with some 360mm case fans.

Also, do you have all the fans blowing out, or intake on one side, and exit on the other? One last thought...I know my basement stays really cool all year long, if you have a basement, you might get some great results moving it down there.

Anyway, much green mojo to you bro! You're looking great so far!

Great news all! I received my package yesterday while I was out of town so this was the earliest I could update! SO now this can really begin to be a GROW journal :ccc:

The only problem is in the all of my excitement I've forgotten to buy or build something to raise my plants up to the light since I can't lower the light itself. Can anyone give me some ideas to raise these little buggers up, and in the mean time I'll probably just rig up something quick and get my girls germinating!

I plan to do the traditional paper towel method of germing in a tuberware container someplace warm. But before I head off to work I plan on running up to the local store and grabbing some distilled water that I'll PH before soaking the paper towels in it, then placing my seeds!

Please stick around everyone, now it's finally going to get interesting
