People keep telling me to see the first one. I may have been wrecked for it by the visual and sound effects in T2, and especially by Robert Patrick playing the scariest android of all time.

T2 brought something new that hadnt been seen before with technology in movies. Its like what Star Wars was to the 70s in that regard.
Part 1 was great in its own right. But not near the level of production.
The rest were sheer crap. The Police Academies without Goodenburg and Hightower did their earlier ones more justice than the final Terminators did. Thats how bad they were.
