I stopped eating sweet stuff several years ago. Every once in awhile ill eat a cookie that is not too sweet with some milk.
Haven't drank a soda in many years either.

I've seen to much death from Diabetes and health problems from weight,,so I decided long time ago to stay away from sugar.
I've seen people lose 40 or 50lbs just by not drinking sodas anymore. Unreal what sodas can do to people in a short time.

Hey ya'll.... my wife don't cook other than meals, so it's up to me to make cakes, and stuff...but I have never been a big sweets eater anyways, just never cared for overly sweet things. I made a batch of oatmeal raisin cookies last week though, just because I wanted to try it, I haven't ate any in years. My FIL and step daughter loved them.

I really like pie better then cake, but fat boys don't miss much of either when we get a chance. Been thinking about a good peach cobbler. Had a blue berry cobbler a month or so ago and talk of apple and cherry as well. Daughter makes fancy cakes and cup cakes, she really should start a bakery her stuff is really good. They cheat on the pies, lemon icebox pie, kool-aid pies, I want a good mincemeat pie but I guess I'm the only one who wants one in my bunch, they say yuk and I say yum. LOL

I'm down to one dr pepper a day, but the coffee is by the pots. I try a heavier breakfast and lite lunch and supper. Went from 318 to 279, then got sick and ended back in the 280's, so trying again. Took me forever to get below 280, kinda got stuck in there. That's OK got surgery coming up and my fat as won't be able to get to the fridge for a bit, and I think I will lower my coffee amount and drop the Dr pepper for Sunday dinner only.

Good morning ....gone for a day and I miss a cake party...I do not eat many sugar items these days...levels are fine...but I am like Hopper...seen it ruin a lot of folk's health. Now when I did cook those dishes...pineapple upside down cake was one of my favorites...along with German chocolate during the holidays. Off to the salt mine...last day before my break.

Morning old farts, happy fry-day. Just biding my time waiting on the doctors. Gotta see 1 Tuesday and another 2 on Wednesday then should be hearing from the surgeon. Don't like the idea of being cut on especially this being the fifth surgery on this knee and at least one more after this but I want done. Glad it's fry-day, gotta love the weekend.

We had hail raining down earlier this morning. Had me worried about my truck.

Man that Jean Hackman investigation has turned up some weird shit
They had 3 phones. One of those phones left that house twice after they were dead
She was found with a substance in her stomach that she never had taken before.
His pace maker showed his heart rate was high for 4 hrs before he died as if he was dealing with something that had him scared.
The FBI showed up and took paperwork out of a safe they found behind a bookcase.
They also found threatening messages from someone warning him that he better be quiet or quiet was coming.
Fucking Hollywood is scared according to some of the materials they found.
Something to do with his wife knowing things about pedophila in Hollywood.

Old Hen said she saw on the tube that Gene's wife had the hanta virus. That'll take out young folks, much less oldsters. I had it 30+ years ago. Sickest I've ever been. You could shit through a screen door and never touch a wire. 104 temps. Nasty. Got it in NM. At the time, it was taking old folks out in two days and had killed a 22 year old college wrestler in four.

They figure Gene died a week after she did. He had alzheimers bad, and they figured he starved to death. The dog went the same way. Sad way for anyone to die.

Who the fuck knows but a phone doesn't leave twice and come back while your dead without some help.
