It's been a long winter already in Northern Ohio. No let up at all since Thanksgiving and this is the first winter in a decade where I didn't spend a month or more down south. The Costa Rica trip seems like a dream already.

Its beautiful there My sis and BIL lived there almost 10 years. Their 2 oldest girls are going to college there as they have dual citizenship so way cheeper.

Morning folks been lazy this more, knees are giving me hell. 50's yesterday 70's today bad storms coming in tonight and 50's again tomorrow with possible winter weather Wednesday. Rollercoaster ride underway. Hope all are good this morn, time for a late breakfast.

Hey ya'll....weird day, it's real foggy/mist, and chilly about 50F, everything is wet. Supposed to have bad weather tonight, winds 15-25 with gust to 40mph....and I saw something that said we could get winds of 60mph. The storm is moving fast, so hopefully we won't get much rain out of it.


Had to run to town and refill the 30 gallon propane tank...Wife just picked us up something for dinner for today, 3 Stooges later, a double feature Svengoolie, but I doubt we'll watch that. SSsssss, and Teenagers from Outer Space....lol

Evening OFC not much happening tonight. Feel a little under the weather sleep until 1pm. Now my day is all off. Time to lit up.

I'm with ya on the under the weather stuff. My back has been a total asshole since yesterday. I should be out plowing, but the Pullet came home and said we might have 2" on the ground. I'd normally take care of it, but with 5-8" on the way tonight & tomorrow morning, I'll wait.

Good morning ...reading all the weather reports...no damages here...4 tenths rainfall...so we got off lite. It was 80° yesterday ...so the potential for storms was there. The joints and muscles were acting up with the change in pressure...feeling much better today with drier air in place. The grow had perked up with the warmer temps... now a week of below temps to fight. Gotta love it though.

Thay was ne last week we were in the 89 s now we are in 50-60. I want the 80’s back.

I'd say the predictions of a foot of snow were greatly exaggerated, but that would be a jinx, so I won't. Got maybe an inch on top of the two inches yesterday. 'Tis blowing pretty good out there, so I'll be dealing with drifts shortly.

Good luck and stay warm. It could be worse it could be zero with no heat. That happened to us in Il all the time. I lived in the middle of nowhere. It used to take hours for them just to check it out. Then it would take another few hours to get a crew out. I hated living there in winter.

Looks like we missed the worst, lots of folks without power, ours went out just long enough to reset all the clocks. A few trees down, not close to use though. I got woke up about 7-8 times with the weather radio going off. Now we start off at 55F, with temps dropping throughout the day...

There was more snow than I anticipated. Got an honest 5" on the ground and more where the semi-hurricane winds have drifted it. I'll bet I'm back out tonight/tomorrow hittin' the drifts. Meh.
