Good morning.... that vintage vape kit...reminds me of the days of good hash...1980 maybe...blonde hash...we would freeze a small glass...light a ball of hash on the end of a needle. The needle was stuck into an album cover usually to hold it...the frozen glass placed over the hash to collect the smoke. It was frozen to help cool the smoke I guess...we would tip the glass slightly and inhale the smoke from under it. This is the point you would cough your head off.... see stars and everybody fell out laughing. Good days gone by.

Want a $50 vaporizer that will vaporize any material and is easy to clean?
Here is something I put together out of a $30 dual 150W quartz beam security lamp, by bolting the two lamps face to face and boring a hole for a test tube between them.
The light reostat controls the temperature and the test tube has a two hole stopper in it, one for the out tube and one with an empty ball point pen refill to deliver the fresh make up air to the bottom of the tube.
To use, place the material to be vaporized in the test tube, insert the stopper, and place it in the lamps. Adjust the lamps so that vapor forms without burning and draw it out through the tube.
Tubes are cheap and to clean them, I soak them in alcohol and use a toothbrush.

80's? We were tokin' on blond Lebanese back in '69. It was actually my first buzz. My now deceased buddy Mark met me out in the woods and fired up the first joint I ever smoked. He got a goofy look on his face. I got nothing. Next day, he brought his brother Bob and another joint. They both started looking goofy with a case of the grins. I got nothing. The third day, Bobby brought a chunk of Lebanese hash. Shazam! That first buzz is always the best. Cannabis and the temptations of Eve both hit in the summer of '69. Great year for a young hippie.
