yes ! just add some bait
I spent the only dollar I had once on a raffle ticket, trying to win a transistor radio. One that had FM, too!Almost certainly. Think of having the computing/processing/advice/etc in your pocket that is equal to ten thousand Big Blue Supercomputers. (Water temp., time of day/year, spawning stats, current fish diet, etc, etc. all dialed in.)
You could whup Phil Helmuth at poker every time.
You could know when/which slot machine handle to pull.
Anything that requires designing, checking, yada.
It is coming. And while I still cannot remember if an elbow is a pound or not, we will all know of quantum computing.
Much simpler life. I smile when I look back on those days.I spent the only dollar I had once on a raffle ticket, trying to win a transistor radio. One that had FM, too!
I didn't win it.
I recall vividly black and white tube-type TV's with only three channels and cars with AM-only radios in them from the factory, riding on nylon tires that would get a flat spot on them from sitting overnight, to soften up and round out again only after being heated up by driving on them.
My, how far we've come, technologically, in 70 years! If only we'd catch up socially. But I digress.
