Looks like a perfect place to spend the night on the way to Crawford this coming September.
It’s a real good idea for us flat landers to spend the night somewhere around Denver. Gives us a chance to acclimate to the elevation before going higher.
Should be there around September 10th, just in case you are wondering.

Crawford is a beautiful place. And Chatfield would be a great place to stop. However make sure you check availability in the camp ground. Also, I will just be getting back from a weekend fishing trip on the 10th. How long will you be here.
