Ok so here is the story, a couple weeks ago a buddy of mine threw a party at his house. Well we were smoking and rolling on his back porch all night. Thinking nothing of it we buried all the seeds and stems in a little pot that had nothing growing in it. Well a few days ago that same friend was on his back porch and just happened to look at that pot and sure enough there is something growing out of it. Something with a very distinct leaf. We have since moved the pot to a discrete location in the sun and we water it every day. Now I have no experience growing and I know very little about it. But we are going to transplant the plant to a great location where it will never be found out in the woods. What I need to know are just the basics, I can read later on about how to sex and harvest the plants. I also need to know if the fact that these plants just started in late june what I should be looking for as far as a timeline of growth goes. The plants are in a clay pot aout six inches across. there are about 6 or 7 little stalks coming from the dirt in a close bundle. They are about 6 inches tall right now and they are growing every day. Tips, help, advice, etc....... Thanks

First you need to seperate all the plants. Only water them when they need it which is like every two or three days. They will get root rot and get droopy if you water them too much. They need as many hours of light as they can get so put them somewhere that they will get some good rays. For each plant your going to want atleast a two gallon pot. Get good soil. I would recomend not to use Miracle Grow. Then get some nutrients. That I think is the basics. Goodluck.

What Maine said...Except I recommend that you do use Miracle Grow. ;)

Well what is wrong with just putting them in the ground, and how should I seperate them?

Absolutely nothing is wrong with putting them in the ground. Transplanting seedlings is tricky because you have to be very delicate so you don't break them. Just try to get under all the roots and put them in the new soil and bury them up to their first set of leaves with loose dirt (but packed enough to support them).

Nothing is wrong with putting them in the ground but you need to do it asap season is getting late. If you just have one plant try to remove all the dirt in the pot and dig a hole to fit the dirt clog from the pot. If more than one dig them out with a small shovel and try not to cut or break roots..and leave dirt around the roots if possible, dig a hole according to size. Water the plants good after you put them in the ground. If you want to go all out get you some good soil from a store or make your own. Dig a bigger hole put the good dirt in and plant the plants as explained above in the good dirt you filled the hole with. Hope this helps.

PS Watering should be dont according to weather... such as is you live in Arizona you may want to water it every day if its outside. If you live in Maine it could go a few days. Typically if you have a few dry days get it some water especially if its hot days, if it rains for a couple days pretty good let it go 4 or 5 days before water unless your that guy in Arizona then you may want to water them. If the plant is outside and your in dout of weither of not to water it do it, its pretty hard to over water an outside plant. Hope this helps

i would not recomend putting all in the same spot, maby 3 to an area and spread out, and dependnig on the soil you may need to amend it, and that if you need it, is not something that you can skip a good top soil should work. hope this helps
