I have 3 plants that were switched to 12/12 light 23 days after sprouting and vegging under 24 hour light in my tent.
I am feeding them veg nutes and all is going very well.
The plants all showed several pistils within 4 days after the light change, which was yesterday. Usually it took more than a week before, but maybe the shock from 24 hr light to 12/12 was a stronger stimulus.

Should I now switch to bloom nutes for the next feeding or keep giving them veg nutes a few more days until the pistils start to develop more?
Right now they are little twin hairs emerging from tiny calyxes in may places around the plants.
Thanks for any advice.

I usually keep a little 1/2 strength of veg nutes for a while while giving flowering. It depends on how green they look. Got pic's?

I too just flipped 6 days ago, i am showing the start of Einsteins but i dont use veg nutes at all during flower i do however add a touch of additional phosphorus to the rez, phosphorus helps to stimulate new bud sites and faster bud starts

I have seen people struggle with "yellowing off" later in flower because they stopped giving veg nutes too soon, which allowed the Nitrogen deficiency to kick in later when you don't want to give nitrogen as it will interfere with flowering.

I add flowering nutes to my veg nutes when I flip the lights to 12/12 then each week after I cut the veg nutes in half, and by the end of the 3rd week of flower, The halfening has reduced the veg nutes to nearly nothing so I just cut it off at that point. It seems to work well enough to support the plants during the stretch and gives them enough to carry them to the end before any yellowing off begins.

we are all so different and it ALL works well..

i never feed during veg.. the feed they get is in their soils. as an add to my (2) part main mix, ocean forest and roots-green light, i add some blood meal which carries their nit. needs. till the 12/12 flip. then i pour on the flower nutes..

Proof positive that there is more than one way to skin this cat. You just have to keep a hold of his tail long enough :D

hush just a little bit of raw nitrogen in that instance will perk them back to nice dark green, can also be used if you go to flush to soon.
I have a sea of Einsteins starting after 9 days

Ya just have to be careful not to overdo the nitrogen while in flower. I suspect now that you have played with that long enough, you have learned how to do that for the different strains that you've grown that way, without overdoing it. :)

technically i have never had a deficiency, and i have never added ust nitrogen, although i have it onhand incase i need it, I mostly added phosphorus and potassium at various times to nudge the plant in the right direction. But if i was to have a nitrogen def, the RAW can be used either at the roots or as a foliar(not in bloom)

I've been adding some of the veg nutes to the flower nutes for the first couple of feeds, and so far they look ok. They are doing a bit of stretch still.
