stage 2, still new....

hello freinds, this is jahkilla again. if you all remember, i just came on board last week, i been smoking for decades, but i can,t grow a plant to save my life. my thread last week was "so new,so green" this week with the much needed advice from my MP bretheren, i separated my 15 or so starter plants and took the 4 largest and transfered them into a 5-gal buckett halfway full with potting soil mixed with sand and watered it well.
my question to all is this: do i put my babies back in the closet with the 20w flourescent bulb over them, or put the buckett outside every morning in the sun? also the potting soil i have says that all nutrients are included
so should i just continue to just water every other day,and let nature take it,s course.i,ve come to you all-THE PLANT GODS for help and advice, myplants are in your hands...........

I don't know anything about growing indoors but I do know that the nutrients in your potting soil will be used by your plant. So, you will need to feed them later on.

now first things first, did u seperate all the plants from one another? cuz if u didn't ur grow is already comprimised for the simply fact u could have males and females growing together, plants fighting over growth room, as well as nutes, water, co2 and light. and if u watering every other day, ur gonna over water them, spend the $20 to get urself a 3 way meter at any walmart, nursery, garden center, meijers. to check for moisture levels. if ur gonna keep them inside, U NEED ALOT MORE LIGHT. NO IFS ANDS OR BUTS. if ur putting them outside, u might as well spend the $40-$60 to put them all in seperate pots or in a garden bed. get the basics down first. thats the only way ur ever gonna have a good grow worth the time and effort.

frst of all thank you for your time and knowledge. in response to your questions, yes, idid separate each plant, you were right, even after such a short time, it took a while to untangle the roots, which were very long.... second i plan to make this an indoor plant and the closet is 3ft-wide x 10ft tall, and i,m only gonna grow those 4 plants in the buckett so what kind and how much light do you suggest?.

well your deffinantly going to run into heat/space/ventalation/room problems in that small of a grow space. your plants are young and are going to explode if you have proper lights, with growth!!! the more air you have running through your grow space the better, your roots will strengthen as well as all of the stems on the plants. what type of light are you using what is your watering looking like during the week, how long are your lights on.....check out my grow journal VIRGIN GROWER.....it will show you my space and my plants which are only around 35 days older than yours
