hello people, my names jahkilla, and i need your help.for years i,ve been trying to grow just one decent plant with no luck.ijust don,t have a green thumb and i,m hopeing you can help me step by step, ipromise to log on for your advice twice a day! it,s been two weeks now and the plant i,ve started seems to going well.i took a baggie of about 30 seeds and germinated them by putting them in water until they split open and then put them all 2-inches deep into a 4-inch pot with store bought potting soil. i watered it well and after a week about 15 or so have sprouted. iwent away to florida for a week, came back, and they look really good. i now have the one pot with all these loveley 2-inch starter plants! this is where i always go wrong.only thi time i have the pot in my closet on the top shelf with a12-inch long warm white florecent tube 4-inches above the flower pot. it,s been 4 days now and the plants seem to be growing towards the light,i don,t want to lose them, WHAT DO I DO NOW ???

welcome to the forum, for starter don't put 30 seeds together in a 4 inch pot, just gonna have a tangle of roots, best to put them in there own pots maybe 2 -3 seeds tops. u don't need that many sprouts. and check out that link mutt's directing u to also just search throught the sections u'd be amazed at what u can find just goofing around.

From what I understand..

there are 3 basical problems that most Noobs run into that causes
their plant to fails.

1. Lack of GOOD Lighting

2. Over watering

3. Over nutes (nutrients fertilizers)

GOodluck..

May the force be with you.
