I would like to use enough super-charged soil that I don't have to feed them anything but tap water the entire grow. Am I dreaming? Or would 7 or 10 gallon pots of really good soil do this for me?

Thanks.

I use teas no matter what size of pot and/or direct burial.

unless your growing some big plants a 3-5 gallon pot should be plenty big enough.

If you are wanting to use super soil and have it last, I would say it will depend on the size and type of plants strain that you grow as some plants are nutrient hogs while others are light eaters. Either way, you will do best with a super soil if you make it up and add in sufficient amounts of microbes then allow it to "cook" for several weeks to a month before using it so that it has time to be properly chelated before the plants begin pulling on it.

If you look in the organics section, you will find some very good recipes for making your own super soil. :)
