Small brown speckles - outdoors

I have several plants that have small brown speckles or freckles lol, on various fan leaves and the center vein also. rusty colored.
i know i need to take my camera and get sum pics next trip out
theres not any pics on the leaf deficiency chart that resembes them.
btw - Outdoors in holes

Is it rust? Do you live in an area with a lot of moisture? Check with a loupe for bugs.

your going to want to get down low to the ground and look up at the plant, look for webbing from spidermites, not saying that's it for sure but is a possibility.

little brown spot are most likely when bugs are getting a little food. As long as it's not more brown spots than green leaf and there are no spider webs you should be fine. when your od growing you are going to always have a few bugs on plants.

thanks all. yu guys rock !! Growdude thanks for pic , my leaves look like that plus the center line - vein is also rusty colored the length of the vein. looks like my problem.
Makes good sense too as these are new holes and i didnt mix any lime in my existing soil.
Ok ,since theyre about 2 wks in bloom do i treat with lime. im thinking the powered lime since its faster acting.
