slow grow

Ok first im gonna start off with ima new grower...
but im problem is slow grow my beautiful young plant is
vary short and still hasnt started to develop much and she [i hope]
has been growing for about a month now and shes still around 4'
what could be the problem

shes in a 1 gallon pot
under 2 42 watt cfls
temp in room is from 70 - 82

Well, either your plant is simply a slow growing one or you might have a lot of light leakage, or bad watering, or... There could be many reasons for it growing slow I believe. You should post a pic for everyone to see so they can diagnose the problem. Good luck buddy!

once i get my cam working i will and i think ill let back on some of the watering thanks

Too much watering, eh? Yeah, you don't want your soil completely soaked, like making the soil turn to mud or anything.

its not muddy it more like damp kinda ill let it set for a couple of days without water and see how it does this is just kinda a test plant anyway so... yea know how it goes learn from your mistakes right

Definately, man. I rather make mistakes than to learn without making them at all. It is a good idea letting the soil dry up a bit. Those roots can breathe a lot easier when you do so.

Might be time to transplant too,IMO/E when a seedling/veggling starts to slow its growth this soon into life root-binding has started in and it will grow slower.
