Does anyone have any tips for mating a male with a female for producing seeds?

You can also collect pollen from the male plant and brush it onto the pistils that you want seeds to be produced at. So if you chose to pollinate some of the lower bud sites you could while keeping the others free of seeds.

search for ldylunatic's post on this. She also tells how you can store the pollen for extended periods of time.

so when the buds are mature and ready to be harvested, will the seeds also be ready to be planted? And how do i make sure i am selecting a male that will produce good seeds

You have to personally check if he makes a good lover I heard... don't ask me how though.

The seeds will be viable with no cure.

The 'male selection' theory is widely debated, I say just pic one or use several...dunno mang...you got a ton of reading there...some say you have to look at the offspring to really choose....that means keeping all the original males:eek: . Best advice I can give is if outdoor, I would maybe use more than one.

cold bud... try this... if you have more than one male... take samples of all the males in different jars and spread each on different bud sites and then you can see which one take... bound for at least one to take you know well thats my 2 pennies peace

How will i collect the pollen and if i pollenate only a certain number of the buds will ventilation in the room cause any of the pollen to spread to other buds? I don't want them to spread to buds i want to harvest.
