I put my OG fem seed from Attitude in rockwool about 3 days ago now. I saw the seed coming up the hole in the rockwool cube so I knew it cracked! I placed it tip side UP but it has turned???

I can now see the root doing a U and the seed is burying itself into the rockwool.

What do I do? I dont want to break any of the tiny micro roots at such a young age...:(

I'm unsure of what you mean here ? Generally when a seed cracks its root pops out through the pointed end of the seed but i'm thinking you already know this ! But tip side up i dunno ! i'd cut the cube down around an inch above where you placed it.... or gently remove it and place it into a new cube with tweezers ( It only has one root currently ) ! Thats all i can offer bro ! Peace and take care !

The wife has the camera in her car and thats at her parents. Give me 3 min max to MS paint it.

Ok here u go. Im sorry but Im so effin faded.

This seed should germinate normally if you can gently move the rockwool aside ! Oooohhh man i dunno actually W T H to do ! Sorry man ! I DON'T Wanna lead you down the garden path man ! STUMPED over here ! Peace and i hope you can save her ! I hate that ????

Ill give her another 24hrs. Hopefully something happens.

i don't see why it is such a big deal. the plant will grow towards the light , even if the seed is not in the perfect position. just let it grow.

That's the best thing to do in my opinion. It will grow upwards towards light.

I have planted seeds upside down and they came out fine. Hopefully this one will do the same. The way you described it I thought the head was trying to bury itself with the roots.

Let it alone. The seed knows what it is doing. IMO you will do more damage by messing with it.

Actually, I think maybe depending upon heat of light in summer trying to germinate may actually "spin" seeds a bit to avoid the intense heat. I have had a few (normally in cooler spring and autumn I don't notice this phenomenon) in the past few weeks that turn upside down, down I gently scrape away dirt from the top layer and look for the seed. Then I gently take out and root correctly, i.e. right-side up, and then recover with only a bit of dirt to not be too heavy to break through.

Then she/he/they seem to be ok, most of the time. Hot sun of August Summer in N. Hempisphere (Hemisphere) really reduces germination success rates.

This^

Although I am hydro-indoors my mother room has been 90 degrees lately.

The seed is trying so hard. The taproot is so big but the seed has not moved!

Not sure if I should try to remove and re-plant? Dang.

I pulled the rockwool off the top with a pair of sterilized tweezers until I saw the seed. It was turned 180 degrees. I know to drop them in tip side up, but somehow it was turned??? Either way The tap root was pointed down and the seed head was pinned in the rockwool trying to point up. I think It will be Ok. :) Pics as soon as the dang thing opens! I need some green mojo here people!

She moved. Upright and ready to crack open!

Thats good man! The germination technique is completed ! See you in the grow journals i hope ! Have some more mojo to help get you there ! Peace and take care !

congrats! that must have been a nervous time you were having.

She died. Never opened up. I pulled seed case off and there was no embryo leaves. I am waiting till fall to plant anymore. its 100+ degrees outside and ~90 in my mother room. Too hot for the seed and just too much stress in the beginning. Next time I may try this paper towel thing...although I do suspect it was the heat.
