I will be very surprised if the yihi works in top control.
This isn't a ecig mod or a straight wired flower vape.
The coils are pre installed in the buckets.
The coil is made from nichrome the bucket is made from titanium.
You do not inhale any air across the coils in the sequoiA.
Close the bottom holes completely only open the top hole a tiny amount.
Open it too much and the oil splashes up on the air intakes in the lid clogging clogging it.

Only for oils flowers a whole different ballgame.
Dabpress has the best bang for buck presses on the market.
If you go ultra cheap you will regret it.

You may wanna look at a site called fuckcombustion.com its a sales tool for the vape manufacturers.
I hear you on the ultra cheap, and the main reason I don't own one yet. I figured it's a tool that isn't going to be cheap to do it correctly.

Make sure to get a 21700 Molicell or other AUTHENTIC battery for it. The Yihi mods are/were built far better than many brands. Mine is over 3yrs old and still works fine.
When you start dealing with sub ohms you also crank up the amps needed so you want really good batteries. As a battery heats up its internal resistance goes up and so does the heat. Good batteries with a rating of 20amp or more and a rated LOW internal resistance is highly recommended.

Thanks for that, exactly what I want to avoid! Just personal preference will cause a small pile of castoffs, don't need a mountain, thanks.Sounds like it may work then.

I know for one of these, I chose good battery, not sure I ordered one for other. I had noted previously your rec to not go cheapie with battery.

Correct, you can charge batteries in the mod but its best to use a good Nitecore or better.
Looks nice, think I will get these I've ordered and see what I like/don't like before I get too many cast offs. Still in learn mode with these devices.

The tank you ordered is top shelf or damn close to it because they use TEMP CONTROL compatible materials for the coils. Honeystick dont specify what all of theirs are made from but its most likely kanthal if they dont mention it.
When i buy coils i must know the ohms and rated watts PLUS the material they are made from.
All you need to know about Sequoia is in the manual and it looks excellent.

Batteries can be charged either on the Nitecore charger OR they can be charged by a usb cable to the mod. Its best to only charge them in the Nitecore charger.
