Prediciment, help.

My family is about to go on vacation. I am paying a neighbor girl to come and let my dog out a few times a day while we are gone.

Here's my problem....

I could easily just let the dog stay at her house for the week. Then she wouldn't have to come here at all, except to pick up my mail. She is 11 and I really doubt she'd know, or even see what my plants are.

But in a way, I feel like having my dog stay here would guard my plants. Plus, when my dog does her business outside, I almost feel like that smell would overpower any fragrance coming from my plants. I haven't been picking up all the dog poop cuz I'd rather it smell like dog waste then MJ.

What would you do if you were me?

I am gonna hate leaving my girls. I need one of those baby nersery cams so I can keep watch when I am gone.

Hey there Kiddo,
I can see the predicament that your in, however I had this thought. The girl comes over to check on doggy, Then someone comes over to check on girl, and it's just natural to be curious and look at your backyard. Seems dicey at best to me. You said you have the option of sending the pooch over to her house ? I think that might actually be the lesser of the evils ya know. I like the idea of your dog gaurding your love, but if fam is the only one that knows then set up the timer lights and off you go. Have fun OK

Your grow is outside....Give it plenty of water hope it rains a lil and enjoy your vacation without letting ANYONE know its out there. my 2:bits too.

SmokinMom do ever think that a child don't know anything you will be surprise on what they have learned in school, the reason I say that is because here in our school teaches about all drugs and what they look like. So beware..

So my suggestion is this find something to put all around it and leave the top open and got to be high enough to cover the top of the grow, u could use some Pallets and make some type of 4 foot fence around it to help hide it.

That what I am thinking about doing next year is take 5) 4x4 Pallets and make a box out of them and put the 5 Pallet on top for a cover and I think there be enough sun light to go through all day long while in the sun I want to grow in the open sun and I figure this would work and that way nobody can tell whats in there from a distance.. Right in the middle I am going to dig a 1 1/2 foot hole about the size of a 5 gal bucket and put potting soil and organic and mix it all together and put it in the hole for my grow next time.. Think this will work?

i would prolly send the dog away also ,, i dont know if id be tring to cover them up thoe that might look a little odd a plant covered up when their is no chance of frost or anything,, id send the dog away and let the mail pile up ,, tell the you got someone eles getting your mail,, anyway have a good trip AND FOR GOD SAKES BE CARFULL ha ha ha j/k

Yes probably so. My hubby likes mowing over it though. You should see how green our lawn is.
