Hey Blunt...........

I use a basic nitrogen feed for veg cycle that works wonders for the greenery, and have not been convinced that the "solubles" are worth the effort..........

PB:)

Is your nitrogen feed a mixture you've put together or a complete product you buy, PB? Details? :p

I'm getting ready for my microgrow, ordered seeds two days ago...:hubba:

For veg, I use Peters 20-20-20 water soluable fert., 1tsp per gal, every 4 to 5 days. The color of the plant will let you know if it needs the nitrogen or not. With the right conditions, a rapidly vegging plant will take the nutes.

So you are going to do a little grow, huh? Whatcha gettin for beans?

Hey Blunt..........

Heard of grows side by side with and without the solubles like Cha Ching. I have heard not much difference. Could be hearsay with not much backing..... Some swear by the whole line of products. If you feel it man, do it. Give it a shot and let us know.......

My thin wallet was my guide this shopping trip. Maybe the 'Cha Ching' is the sound of my $ going to Fox Farm profit!

Is the average height of an indoor plant ?and whats the average weight you get when dried?, if you know. Ive never grew indoors LOL

PEACE

the plants are looking great PB....hope they wind up being ladies for ya....

Old Hippie: there's a lot of variable that make up the answers to your questions....everything from genetics to growing style make a difference in height and yield....i've had plants from 18" to almost 6' tall....and the 6' ones were put into flowering from seeds after less than a week of vegging....

the 6 footers were Neville's Haze btw....

Hey Old Hippy!

My plants are about 30" max height. Avg weight dried about a couple oz.

Growing indoors with a low height requirement is challenging and difficult. I still don't have it down. Still working on trying to find the right strain, and technique.

I definitely am not the leading authority on indoor growing, as I am still 'paying my dues'........ Many more here could answer your question

There is absolutely nothing in comparison to a sunlight raised tree in the ground. Don't stop doing what your doing, Old Hippy. You've got the big outdoor happy buds..........I grow indoors because I don't have a spot to grow a tree. Sure wish I could! LOL!

What if you started to trim like Bonsai trees? Or you can keep them tied and shape the grow like an Ivy plant. I will be interested in how this goes, as I too would like to keep my indoor grow short and bushy.
Looking good..

You too have a vision........ It's gotta be the right strain and technique to get it right.

Thanks for stoppin in OllieTea........

Thanks, Blunt...Assuning that I receive my order  I will definitely do a microgrow journal... Probably only germ 3-4 seeds and save the others for a Spring grow outside...:)

Hey everyone..........

Axed the tall one today. It was not the right short and fat genetics I'm looking for. Was 18" tall when "it" got taken down, and growing like a weed.

Wished I had something like '1-800-SAV A POT'. Me on the phone....... "Yea, hey could you send someone here to rescue my plant? Gettin too big in me small apartment. It needs to go to a good home."

Would have loved to do that instead of axe it............ I see it as a sad waste to a beautiful plant.

So now it's up to one nice fat little bagseed "indica" for this journal. Here's hoping you are a "gal". :bong1:

So the good news.............. I now have room for 2 Afghani's. ;)

Yea man do what RD said everything gonna be ok kepp ya other plant healthy
and she will make you happy in the end

Hey to all, got some more pics to share.

Nice and healthy, staying relatively short and compact. It has been in flower for 9 days.

The last pic is the side growth showing alternating nodes on all off them. They started alternating when this plant was four weeks old. It is about 34 days old now.

Hoping to see pistils soon............

PB:)
