planting late in season

i know that in an indoor setup you can go straight to flower from the seed but can you do that outside? like start really late in season and have them flower earlyer than usuall?

U no A.K., I was just thinkin' about that earlier today. My outdoor stuff is just getting out of hand already...hasn't started to flower yet, so it's still got some growin' to do. I would prefer to start a bunch of ladies indoors, then put them out in early August, at about a foot tall, let em grow for a month, then into flower...I believe that my brother did it that way last year and it worked out o.k.

yeah it will start to flower but if will take a little time. the plant has a interior clock that notices the sun light time getting shorter so it will start to flower to reproduce. once it starts to flowere though your growth starts to slow and then in about 2 weeks it will stop growing but if you started this late you might not start flowere for 2 weeks so you might get 4 weeks of grow then flower. oh and you know its ready to harvest when the hearts of the buds hairs will turn from white to their color. hey but the only way to know is to experment. thats the way you'll learn best. be your own scientest. good luck

I have seen a large patch go to seed in auguast and some of the seeds came up got about six inches tall then budded. It will work but its going to be more like a sea of green and you will need lots of seeds to make anything. You can figure your only going to get a bud the size of you little finger if your lucky and that wont make much at all. An also figure in if you have 100 plants you will have half that are female if your lucky and half of those wont make it because of dry weather insects eating on the new plants groth and anything else that gets them so out of 100 you might get ten buds like you little finger so if you get a quarter oz if you lucky.
