Plant sudden collspse?

Zem I have had plants grown from the same seeds (we all know how this turns out) and all but one or 2 of those plants will be Heavy drinkers, (just like people LOL). I believe diff genetics' within the seeds themselves will produce the difference.
I find when watering some like 1 gallon and another plant from the same seeds needs 1 gallon.
So yes I tend to agree with your conclusion DRY ROOTS.......
 
Sudden plant collapse can be from root rot, heat stress, or nutrient imbalances—especially in flood & drain systems during hot weather. Check roots for rot, ensure proper oxygenation, and keep temps stable. Could also be pests like root aphids.
