I am planning to grow 4 sensi nl5 x haze plants from seed in a 1x1x 2m tent and am worried about the reports of stretching in that strain.
I want to get the best yield and potency, but I don't want to run out of head room.

Should I use 7.5L or 11L soil pots?

Can I control the height or help the yield by topping it once before putting into flower?
I can also do some lst, but I'd rather not get into supercropping after it's gotten too tall.

Will getting root-bound in the smaller pot create nutrient or potency problems?

Also, I read that this strain is longer flowering. Should I plan for a full 12 weeks of flowering or something else?
The info states 65-75 days, but they tend to be optimistic.

Thanks for any advice.

Any haze plants that I have grown have been tall and long flowering. I don't care to grow them inside.

Top, top, chop them kids. Until you get them to sexual maturity, you can top them until you have a candelabra fit for (forgive my spelling) Hanachkuh. The key to topping is to make sure they are healthy and then cut off tops periodically, just above a new branch growth as that will be the next top. If you wait until the seedlings have about 5-7 leaf nodes and then top it back to just above the 4th or 5th node. While the plant is immature, the branches will come out in pairs. once you see the leaf nodes staggering (alternating) then it has reached sexual maturity and will soon begin showing preflowers.

I would also consider using a screen similar to scrog when you move them to flowering. Use this to bend branches outward and try to hold them beneath the screen during the stretch period (first 2 weeks of flower), then turn them puppies loose to grow toward the lights.

The screen I like to use in mine is 2"x3" hole "welded wire dog fence". You can get it at Lowes/homeboy depot/hardware stores. :)

Here are a few of my plants that are in veg. the 2 taller plants are in standard 12oz solo cups and stand about 15" tall after I cut all the tops off. If you look carefully at the front plant, you can see the "candelabra" effect. also known as "mainlining". These 2 plants are Goji and they grow insane in flower so I have to cut back a few times and then clone so that the plants don't get too tall before going to flower room. These 2 plants are about 7 months old now. I have done the same thing with the smaller plants which are Pineapple Chunk. I set my screens about 17" above the soil top.

wow! 7 months and still in solos. thanks for photos. last time i cloned, they got too big before my flower tent was available. gonna be doing more topping on clones now. thanks

Thanks, everyone.
Does anyone think that going with 5 x 7L pots versus 4 x 11L pots in my tent would be a better choice or not?
I'm thinking primarily yield and height, but also will a smaller pot size tend to introduce nutrient issues or root bounding that can then affect yield or even potency?

hugely depends on who u ask. i like 5 gallon smart (felt)pots. a few go with larger sizes when they scrog. a couple plants can fill a much larger area... 3 gal. is popular also. plants are usually not as big but use less soil, feed and take up less floor space.. 1 gal. some like also but i would not use unless my space was very limited.. felt pots will help with root bound issues.. plan on ten weeks flowering. your tent is about 38 by 38 by 74 inches high, i think. only 4 plants. 5 gallon is my choice. plan on plants doubling in height from the day u flip 12/12.. looking foward to your pics..
