ok so most people here grow for a hobby.
im just wondering what other hobbies yall are into.
not only do i grow but i have 3 150gal auariums set up(hopefully salt water one day).
i also have dogs that i train.
i have 4 nitro racers(gas powered r/c)2 mini powerboats and 3 r/c airplanes.
i love to cook and am always trying new restaurants and recipies.
i also dig reading alot.
i have a 4wheeler and a dirt bike.
basically i dont like sitting around and doing nothing so i try to keep myself occupied

I used to play Magic the Gathering, but life has pretty much taken all my free time. Now I just read this forum, clean the house, and watch movies in what little free time I can muster.

We love hiking, geocaching, camping, fishing, that sort of outdoorsy thing...I always outfish my hubby, he hates it. Haha!

I love to shop....sleeping is a great pasttime of mine. I enjoy watching some sports, particularly if the players are good lookin'.

The second hobby isnt by choice but always seems to happens on friday nights.

I'm very active in recreational mining, small suction dredging, sluicing, etc... I realy enjoy my job (realy!!...lol) It's quite challenging and rewarding, so it takes a large portion of my time. The pay is realy good for Alaska so I only need to grow for my own recreational pourposes . When I am not working, or camping/mining, I spend time with my girlfriend, chat online here in this forum, just hang out I guess. Where I live we get alot of snow (3 to 5 feet on average) and for 3 of the 5 to 6 months of winter we only get about 4 hours of any kinda daylight so in the winter its usualy me, my girl, my 4 to 6 'little girls' and this forum...lol no complaints here!!:dancing: hey its 419 anybody got a minute??!!

snowboarding, paintballing, auto crossing and fixing electronics. i get bored very easily if i'm not entertained....oh look a bee.... the internet takes up alot of time trying to read useless knowlegde that i can drop at parties. all in all, i try to aquire as much life as possible through whatever means necessary.

My biggest passion is music: Producing, Recording, Sampleing, Re-Mixing, Listning to, playing and collecting, as well as learning new instruments, Theres no feeling quite like when the learning process clicks and you then 'know' that instrument / program. Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, Decks (although im still a sketch-master on the old plates lol)

Im also really into drawing and experiments like stopmotion animation etc, mainly computer based, which leads me to gaming. Counter-strike: source, Day of Defeat Source, Battlefield 2142, any time, any day, preferably with Dr Green Thumb lol.

Riding bmx too but only in the summer, eating concrete in the cold is the worst and way too much of a risk for my dodgy knees lol..

and of course, smokin' nugs goes well with all these activities, even a late night sesh down the old jump trail with a bbq on a summers night!

Geocaching is like extreme hide and go seek with GPS, I think. Hide an object, post the GPS location, then someone else hikes/climbs/swims for it.

What type of books do you read, night?
Right now I'm hooked on John Scalzi, but I try to stick to the pile of non-fiction books I have going. There's nothing like a good forum read, either.

working on cars is the only other thing i have ever found that wil keep my mind occupied. many a night you will find me at 3am in the garage covered from head to toe in grease. i am a quarter mile junkie, the faster the better

It's basically high-tech treasure hunting. All you need are a few spare hours and a GPS unit. Check out this link, then enter your zipcode and see if there are any geocaches near you. I bet there are!!! People all over the world do this.
