ok so i was debating for a while whether i should grow in soil or hydro. i finally decided and order everything i need. its gonna be hydro for me. order like 7 strains. 70 seeds. im growing with cfl's due to the heat issue. if i had a bigger space i would have gone differently but im making the best of it with a SH bubbleponics 12 pot system. also got all the odor control, ventilation, and nutes taken care of. so i expect to be growing by the end of next week. YAY!


i will be trying my hand at these:


burmese kush-10 seeds
Afghan Delight-10 seeds
blue dynamite-10 seeds
lowryder#2-20 seeds
and i forgot which others i got.




AND OMG!!! i just got an email that my seeds are on their way!!! hooray!

What kind of lighting are you going to use???

IMO: if it is your first grow, GO SOIL...

I had the same debate when I started.. but from experienced pros info
i decided to go SOIL. I am VERY GLAD I did..

why??

SOIL is MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH forgiving.

Doesn't matter how detailed you are, there are things that will arrise
and in HYDRO system. You can lose your whole crop in hours.
PH fluctuations, PPM, NUTES, move fast. If you can't stay on top of it
and use high priced meters and etc. It can be very challenging to say
the least.

Last but not least. HOW big is your grow space???
I have a 7x5x9 space. I started like 18 plants.
With your fans, drip trays, and yada yada yada.
It got real tight in there real fast. As my plants grew
I am/still is worried about space.

If I had to do it again. I would probably do only 6 or 8 at the most
at a time.

thanks guys. my grow space isnt big its gives me room for small plants only. for my very first grow im going to be doing the lowryder#2. from what i heard the SH Bubbleponic system is a very easy system to be growing with. the reason i bought it is because my cousin bought one before and he had success, and from watching his grow he really didnt have to do anything. i dont expect for my grow to be perfect but im definatly looking forward to it.

oh you better believe ill be keeping the pictures flowing. i got a Nikon d200 and a 3 new lenses last month so im like picture crazy. i cant wait. i have a grow log started in a notebook as well noting what methods im using, how i built my box and, everything i used and where i got it, including prices and contact info. im hoping to learn a whole lot. thanks again guys

ok so the grow room is done and im starting to recieve everything. i just got my nutes and fans. flora nova grow and bloom and super thrive. and i got to vent fans 80 cfm's each. im so stoked. i think everything else should be recieved soon.

man then you havent seen the SH bubbleponics kit he got its a drip/dwc u can use strait tap water if u wanted to grow ive been using strait tap and my plants doing fine but how u said nutes yea your gonna have 2 go on the light side like any person using nutes dont wanna burn your plants but GL man and HF will be looking forward to seeing some of yours pics of that 12 pot bubblesponics. Also u got the resvoir? If so man i REALLY gotta see that in action! Im thinking gettin another Bubbleponics system it did so well for my first hydro grow :hubba:

yea thanks dude. yea i do have the res. its pretty darn cool. i need to get my camera back so i can show you guys, but my ex is using it for school, but once shes done ill hop to and start taking pictures.
