I wanted to ask Members to post a Favorite forgotten Toy they loved as a child, I mean the One that stood out from the Rest The Best one you ever had .

Mine was a Daisey Red Ryder BB Gun My Dad confiscated off some kids shooting birds in the Park. He then brought it home and gave it to me , and taught me to shoot at age 7. I loved that darn riffle more than oxygen, even slept with her.

I had Slot cars the bigger 6" size handed down to me (to expensive) and they could be moded to go very quick.
Had the smaller Aura cars too
I had an uncle who was into those. About 12 years older than me. There was a place uptown on the town square where everybody went and raced. He never did bring me with him. I had lots of Tyco and HO trains too.

Yes, we raced 1/24th scale slot cars. Back then, many shopping centers had a hobby shop with giant slot car tracks you would rent time on.
Then there was HO scale. Couple years ago was surfing ebay, and bought 2 sets that make a giant 4 Lane layout. It's in the box.

Anyone else have the build a car Erector Set
or any Erector sets?
I had quite a few of thes sets passed on to me by a Rich Cousin.
Nice build sets for sure. Wish I still had all my Gilbert Sets .
I had the Nuclear Lab set too, had real Isotopes in it.

I can't remember that far back. Plus once you are our age we don't get Christmas presents .....we buy them. I do remember wanting my two front teeth....would have been a nice gift.

I chopped mine by taking another set of forks cutting and adding them to the other forks. Exact same bike except mine was red.
